About Daily Digital India
Most of India now pays, plays, watches and works through a phone. The rules behind that change quickly: a new UPI fee, a different refund deadline, a warning that suddenly appears when you install an app. The news usually arrives as a circular or a press release, written for banks and lawyers rather than for the person holding the phone.
Daily Digital India exists to close that gap. We take what changed, check it against the original source, and explain what it means for you in plain English, usually with a worked example in rupees.
What we cover
- UPI & Payments: limits, fees, refunds, and how to stay safe with digital money.
- Phones & Tech: practical help for Android phones, from storage to security settings.
- Apps & Games: what is new on Indian app stores and how to judge an app before you install it.
- Cricket & Entertainment: streaming, schedules and the apps behind them.
How we work
Every story lists the sources it relies on at the end, so you can read the original yourself. We do not copy other publications; we report what a source says and add context, numbers and examples of our own. How we write, check and correct stories is set out in our editorial policy.
Independence
We are not affiliated with NPCI, the Reserve Bank of India, Google, Apple or any app or company we write about. If that ever changes for a particular story, the story will say so at the top.
