Vivo Y600s Pro launched in China with a 10,200mAh battery

Vivo has launched the Y600s Pro in China with a 10,200mAh battery and 90W charging. It costs roughly ₹39,000 to ₹43,300 there, with no India launch announced.

Vivo Y600s Pro launched in China with a 10,200mAh battery

Vivo has launched a new mid-range phone in China called the Y600s Pro. Its main selling point is a 10,200mAh battery. That is a little more than twice the size of a 5,000mAh battery, which many phones still use. The phone also supports 90W wired charging and has a large 120Hz AMOLED screen. Vivo has not said anything yet about selling it in India. So for now this is a phone to know about, not one you can buy here.

The Y600s Pro joins two other recent models in the same family, the Y600i and the Y600k Turbo. Its specifications are almost the same as the Vivo Y600 Pro, which launched in China earlier in 2026. Notebookcheck says it looks like a renamed version of that phone. It also notes that Vivo has not confirmed whether the two models are related.

Price and variants

The phone comes in two versions. Both have 8GB RAM. The only difference is storage. The rupee figures below are India TV's direct conversions of the Chinese prices.

Variant China price Approx. in rupees
8GB RAM + 256GB storage CNY 2,699 ₹39,000
8GB RAM + 512GB storage CNY 2,999 ₹43,300

A quick worked example: Going from 256GB to 512GB costs CNY 300 more in China. That is about ₹4,300 using the same conversion. So you get double the storage for roughly 11% more money.

Keep in mind that these rupee numbers are only currency conversions. When a phone does come to India, the price is set separately and depends on taxes, local production and the market. You should not expect the Indian price to match these figures.

There are four colours: Moonlight Black, Floating Gold, Starry Purple and Vast Blue.

What the big battery means for you

Fewer charges. A battery this large should last longer between charges than a typical 5,000mAh phone. How long it actually lasts depends on your screen brightness, network signal and the apps you use. Neither report gave official battery-life figures.

It can work as a power bank. Reverse wired charging means you can connect a cable and use the phone to charge another device, like earbuds or a friend's phone. This is handy on a long train journey or during a power cut.

Fast charging needs the right charger. The 90W speed only works with a compatible charger and cable. If you use an old, slow charger, filling a battery this big will take much longer. The reports did not say whether a charger comes in the box.

Weight is unknown. Big batteries usually make phones heavier and thicker. Neither report gave the phone's weight or thickness, so check these once full details are out.

Should Indian buyers wait for it?

Not yet. Vivo has made no announcement about India. Vivo often launches phones in China first, and some of them reach India later under a different name. That doesn't always happen, though, so don't hold off on a purchase you need now.

If you are shopping for a phone in India, here is what this launch tells you. Phones with batteries above 10,000mAh are now arriving in the mid-range, so battery size is worth comparing carefully when you shop. Look at three things together: battery size, charging speed and how many years of updates the brand promises.

On storage, think about whether you really need 512GB. If your current phone keeps filling up, it may just need a clean-up. Our guide on freeing up Android space without deleting photos can help. Paying for the bigger variant makes more sense if you shoot a lot of video or keep many offline files.

We will update readers if Vivo confirms an India launch for the Y600s Pro or a similar model.
